Links for the Weekend

First we have Bruce Weber losing his mind when somebody asks him about the lack of respect for the Big Ten.

Shockingly here is another no call on Duke for a travel. Watch where John Scheyer catches the ball, and then look to see where his pivot foot ends up when he finally gets called for a foul. I believe that this is the definition of egregious!! This was at the end of the game, and Duke was winning by 3.

Here is a great article by Bill Simmons about the NBA and what we can all look forward to in the next 4-5 years. Normally I don't link him because I think most of you read him anyway, but this is one of the better articles that he has written, so I wanted to make sure all 6 of you read it.

The Sports Guy

Johnny "Red" Kerr passed away on the same day as Norm Van Lier earlier this week. It is a very sad time for Bulls fans everywhere, as both of them were icons with the team. Here is part of Red's half-time tribute with the Bulls and MJ. On a side note, for those of you who think that LeBron James is so creative with his "throwing the chalk in the air" before games, Michael and Magic had been doing superstitious pre-game chalk rituals before Lebron could afford a TV to watch them, steal their acts and pass it off as his own. I can almost guarantee that some marketing genius came up with the idea, because Lebron is a moron, he could have never thought up something like this.

This is funny as shit! I found this on a Illinois message board. It is a video of Rich Rodriguez recruiting some players. I have to think that shit like this makes people like Ron Zook and Jim Tressel laugh their asses off. My favorite part is when the 2 kids stop listening to him and just start busting up. I almost feel bad for Michigan.

Hold the Rope

And finally, just for fun, I found my favorite NIKE commercial that did not involve MJ. I spent 6 months trying to dribble with my knees because of this damn commercial.
