Dee Brown has been starting for the Wizards, and he is finally getting comfortable playing point. Here is a video of the highlights in last night's win. It has 4 of Dee's assists and also a 3.

Also Luther Head had a breakout game a few days ago for the Rockets. He had only played 4 minutes in 2 weeks, until he played 41 minutes in a blowout win against the Spurs. He had 21 points 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Look for Luther to get traded, along with Brian Cook, who hasn't played for Orlando in a while.

Here is the link to Talk Zone's Talking Illini. I have mentioned them before, but it is a great show for Illini fans. It is basically 2 hours of sports talk for Illini sports. The best part about the show is that they get great Illini guests. They have coaches on, players like Martez Wilson and also recruits. You can e-mail or call in questions, which they always ask. Really cool, they are live every Monday from 12 to 2.

So let me get this straight. In the NFL you can shoot yourself in the leg with an unregistered gun in a nightclub, and you get suspended for 4 games. You can get into a fight at a strip club after "making it rain" and then asking for the money back, then getting into a shoot out which paralyzes a bouncer, and get suspended for 1 year.

You say that other players are getting "sloppy seconds" because they are dating your ex-girlfriends and you get suspended indefinitely? This is the same sport where you pay players to start fights right? This really requires a suspension? I think a fine, and perhaps an apology would have been sufficient, but I don't know shit about hockey. All I know is that this is funny as hell, and the NHL needs all of the publicity it can get because 7 out 10 people I know had no idea that the NHL: 1) went away because of a 310 day lockout and 2) Is back after that lockout. By the way this Avery guy has dated Elisha Cuthbert and Rachel Hunter, now they both are dating other Hockey players.

This has nothing to do with sports, but it is a cross between Blow and Super Troopers, and of course it occurred in Illinois
